Napalm Riot

So yea been away from NR for along time.
Which makes the second time I have done that now.

School ended, went back home, and pretty much just got to busy to spend alot of time on any forum. Things have calmed down now some though, so hopefully I will be back on here more.

And while I have no problem with the big new ranking leveling/system thats gone up since I left, someone want to explain to me why all the stuff I did on here before I took off doesn't count towards that at all?

So how is everyone else doing?

So I am sitting here in an empty house as for the first time ever, as all three of my roommates(or would house mates be more accurate) are home for the weekend. Of course what this means is marathon gaming sessions uninterrupted. I am wavering right now in what to invest my time in. Part of me wants to play through mass effect a second time, but diving back into Call of Duty 4 or Oblivion are tempting options as well. No matter what though my goal is to finally beat Phoenix Wright 3.

So what does Napalm think I should play this weekend with the TV and xbox all to myself?

Oh and is anyone else really bummed that stage6 got taken down, where else am I supposed to find Dr who online?

So imagine my surprise when I come back to napalm to see they have implemented a
blog system for all the users. As someone who likes to write but normally, finds blogs an exercise, in self-promotion and a waste of time I feel almost hypocritical using this.

Keeping in mind this a gamer site, and that people have better things to do then read about my messed up personal life(which is quite screwy at this point in time) I figured if I am going to write about something I should keep it game related unless otherwise requested.

So to start I am going to rant a bit here, about No More Heroes for the wii, a game I just recently finished. Now I am sure as anyone reading this is a gamer, you have probably at least HEARD about No More Heroes, the latest from the messed minds behind cult classic killer 7. Like Killer 7 No More Heroes is an absolute mind fuck (are we allowed to swear on here I’m not really sure?) of a game. Its full of blood,sex, and the most intense gaming action to be found on any of the next gen system let alone the wii.

While the game is filled with annoying bugs, and the supposed open world system which is like grand theft auto light, are more annoying then fun half the time, the main game and fighting system are so fun it more then makes up for it. Finally a game that used the Wii to its full potential. I couldn’t imagine playing this game on the 360, as making the sword motions with the Wii at such a level of interactivity with the carnage on screen its hard to even think about playing it without.

I will cut this short before it turns into just a review of the game, and say that any Wii owner out there needs to hunt them down a copy. This is just as much, a MUST BUY for the system as smash bros is.

Oh and to anyone who has beaten the game, I am going to upload a slowed down version of that final convo with Jeane at the end to youtube soon. I will post it here later. Well until next time people, assuming there is a next time.
